AW19 Accessory Style Edit

As collections come and go and trends overturn like the seasons, we always have our trustee accessories for comfort and stylish guidance. Autumnal style is often a fashion lovers favourite for the array of chunky knits that fill the shops and getting out our favourite pair of boots from the back of the cupboard! It’s a wonderful period where style can still be a priority before Winter overturns all of our wardrobes and we solely dress for comfort and warmth. One of my favourite things about Autumn fashion is when it comes to accessories you can more than often rely on staples you already own and it’s not a hectic dash to update your jewellery box or add to your hoarding of shoes! Keep reading to find our how we’d style some of our key pieces from our AW19 collection.

Black croc bag - Eleanor pink and purple

A classic black bag is a staple in any woman’s wardrobe and they all come in many different shapes and sizes for all occasions! Whether it’s an oversize shoulder bag that you carry everything but the kitchen sink in or an across the body that transitions from day to night, we all have our own black bag collection that includes timeless favourites. Our Eleanor dress in pink with purple accents, is a bold yet classic piece within our AW19 collection that can be dressed up or down. For Autumn, pair this colourful dress with any classic black bag or to be more on trend, specifically a black croc bag! This fashionable favourite is a sleek addition to any outfit and a timeless accessory you can bring out every Autumn or Winter.

'cool-girl pearls' - Bella orange

What I refer to as my ‘cool-girl pearls’ are Instagram-able accessories that overwhelm the newsfeed of any Insta-user who is following a few too many influencers. The great thing about this trend is its transitional quality to be stylish no matter the season, so don’t be packing those pearls away quite yet! Whether you go neutral during the autumnal months or you love embracing the richer tones of the season, pearl accessories are the ‘cherry on top’ to any outfit.

Scarf - Eleanor black and yellow

One of the best parts of Autumn, besides the pumpkin spice lattes, is welcoming knitwear back into your life! A recent trendy favourite of mine is layering dresses with jumpers, not only is this an amazing way to reinvent your wardrobe but it’s a cosy way to get you from A to B without needing to pull out your winter coat. Another great addition would be a colourful scarf to brighten any outfit, in particular I think this would be an elegant accessory for the Eleanor dress to bring out that pop of colour on the shoulder detail.

Knee high/boots - Anatolia black

Our Anatolia dress is a fantastic addition to any wardrobe, as it’s fashionable for many occasions and can be dressed up or down. From its classic black colour and flared skirt silhouette, I think this number can be paired with any style of boot for a trendy finish. Again, the great thing about Autumn is that we can pull our favourite items from last year and boots are the perfect items to do just that. Whether you love to rock an ankle boot with a heel or a striking pair of tanned knee highs, a simple LBD is a stylish partner in crime when it comes to this duo.

Hair bands -  Ingrid purple

Hair accessories have been a trending favourite throughout the year, but as we enter the closing chapters of the year it’s the perfect occasion to go larger than life. Hair bands, or an everyday version of a tiara as I like to see them, are a simple but effective way to add a bit of glitz to any outfit. Velvet, satin, bejewelled or knotted, this accessory is so popular that they really do come in every fabric and colour, leaving no excuse as to why you haven’t got one yet.

Accessories really are a girls best-friend, so it is always important to have fun and experiment with them when it comes to completing your outfit. Whether you’re revisiting a favourite bag from last season or indulging in a new buy, they’re a fantastic way to personalise any outfit. With a few collaborations currently in the pipeline, we are bursting with excitement to see how our influencers are going to bring them to life with their own personal, unique styles.
