We’re back again to wrap up our favourite Fashion Month moments, including the ones that are still on everyone's lips. Without further ado let’s dive straight into it, shall we?

This year's fashion month saw a bigger push on diversity and inclusivity as the industry continues to strive to break old habits and to evolve into a more welcoming and familiar space. Whilst designers like Christian Siriano have been showcasing their designs on a variety of shapes and sizes since day one, it’s always great to see him rewrite the unwritten rules of couture and see his gowns on curvier and plus size women.

Meanwhile, Moschino concocted a nursery of pastel hues for their SS22 collection. Creative Director, Jeremy Scott, cast a lot of his usual playground mates such as Gigi Hadid and Winnie Harlow for the runway. And whilst his clean-cut, no fuss silhouettes were new for the designers - casting model Aaron Philips was the runway decision that everyone was really talking about. Philips is the first black, transgender and physically disabled model to ever be represented by a major modelling agency, and we can’t wait to see more of her as her career continues to flourish.


French label, Loewe, took us to new heights (literally) during their SS22 show with their innovative, internet breaking heels. But we’re definitely never walking on eggshells when it comes to Loewe, a brand that never fails to deliver an uber luxe show, with many lust-have pieces and accessories. Now, with a new found sense of humour, we can’t wait to see where celebrities take their soap-bar pumps this Summer. And most importantly, will the high-street be doing their own spin? Out is the sensible heel, and in is well, perhaps everything but the kitchen sink.


We also saw many designers giving us exactly what we needed, OTT glam. And just like Jeremy Scott once said to THE FACE magazine, we “need escapism now more than ever”, Fashion Month became just that. A visual escape and motivation for us to sack off our joggers for frocks, slippers for heels, (you get the picture) fashion that could reawaken our soul.

Schiaparelli adorned their accessories, jumpers and more with pearls, gold hardware and diamonds all arranged to make captivating faces, something we had all missed seeing so dearly because of lockdown.

Louis Vuitton created a streetwear period-piece hybrid, exactly like something the cast of Bridgerton might wear had they done a group Vogue cover and wanted to nod to their Regency era Netflix drama. The likes of Chanel also adorned their fan-favourites, such as the cardigan jacket, in sequins.

Fendi opened their show with 18 all-white looks. And if you’re not rocking sequins is there anything more opulent and OTT glam than being head to toe in white? We don’t think so.
